Washington State Fraternal Order of Police Hires New Executive Director
The Washington State Fraternal Order of Police is pleased to announce the hire of our new Executive Director Lynnette Buffington. For the past 3 months, the Washington State FOP has worked with Third Sector Company to search for qualified candidates that had the qualities and desire to be a part of the fastest growing Law Enforcement Organization in Washington State.
The Washington State FOP consists of over 2600 law enforcement professionals, representing officers from all law enforcement agencies within Washington. For the Past 22 years, the Washington State FOP has worked tirelessly to provide benefits and programs to their members and advocate in the State Legislature on behalf of Law Enforcement.
After an extensive search process, Lynnette stood out as the person that has the experience and dedication to build on the success the Washington State FOP has had during their 22 years of existence.
“I am grateful to the Board of Directors and Trustees for the opportunity to be the Executive Director of the Washington State Fraternal Order of Police”, Lynnette responded about being offered the position. Lynnette continued, “I am excited to lead the organization as we advance the vision of Washington State’s one voice for all of law enforcement.”
Lynnette joins the Washington State FOP with over 10 years of association management experience. Her experience includes strong political advocacy, community outreach and organizational leadership.
Marco Monteblanco, President of the Washington State Fraternal Order of Police, said, “We are extremely excited for Lynnette to be a part of our organization.
