The Washington State Fraternal Order of Police Memorial Foundation began as a dream in 1998 and a reality when it was founded in 2000.  The Memorial Foundation was established as a tax-exempt  501c8 (applying for a 501c3) organization.  It's mission is to provide training and education to law enforcement officers as well as offer  law enforcement families assistance in a time of crisis or the tragic line of duty death. 

The Foundation is comprised of the following groups...

• Honor Guard

• Law Enforcement Training / Education

• Critical Incident Stress Management

• Line of Duty Death & Family Assistance

Often police officers are faced with critical life threatening events or pay the ultimate sacrifice.  When that happens the Foundation will offer help to law enforcement and their families in the State of Washington.
